Interesting dealer plate

Front dealer plate on a Colorado car. I kind of like the concept, but doesn’t really work when you have to mount up the real front US size plate.

I know my Crosstrek came with threaded inserts for Euro spacing and I was able to keep the dealer from mounting the Utah plates with self tapers like they are supposed to.

I’m sure they just used US spacing holes in that backer plate.

For a state that doesn’t require front plates, some of the local dealers have some pretty hard front license plates.
